Corpus Christi, TX– Members of the Texas House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence, chaired by State Rep. Abel Herrero, will take invited and public testimony at a hearing on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
The Committee will consider interim charges concerning deferred adjudication and orders for non-disclosure; co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use disorders and parole revocation; penalties for graffiti offenses and abatement programs; and the effectiveness of the state jail system.
