    Corpus Christi will host the 2010 Texas Democratic State Convention on June 25th and 26th. Join Democrats from across the state to organize efforts for your local and state party.

The program's goal is to improve self-care for families by increasing their knowledge of better lifestyle choices with personalized educational advice through the use of text messaging. Rep. Herrero hosts meet and greet in Robstown

Corpus Christi Caller Times CORPUS CHRISTI — Before Nueces County Junior Livestock Show activities begin Saturday in Robstown, sip free coffee, munch a free breakfast taco and meet state Rep. Abel Herrero, D-Robstown, and other elected officials from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Herrero, the incumbent for District 34, is running unopposed in the Democrat primary in March and will face Republican candidate Connie Scott in November. The meet-and-greet at Rolando’s Mexican Restaurant, 131 W. Ave. A, is an outreach for voters to ask questions and learn elected officials’ priorities, an organizer said. Officials invited to attend include state Rep.
