Healthcare Reform Forum
August 4th, 2010The Center for Public Policy Priorities (CPPP) will hold two forums. The first presentation will focus on the role of Texas in shaping access to coverage, best practice models for implementing health reform, and details regarding Medicaid, health insurance regulation reforms. This session is recommended for public policy and healthcare professionals and those organizational leaders whose work will be impacted by healthcare reform. The second presentation is titled “Healthcare Reform and You.” It will provide an overview of the legislation, the basic building blocks of healthcare reform, timelines for major changes, how Texans will be impacted, the role of Texas government in reform.
