Education must be our state’s top priority in order to ensure continued economic prosperity in the future. Abel will continue defending our schools against state budget cuts and ensure our students and educators are safe and able to succeed.

Securing state funds and expanding business development is vital for the community’s bright future. Abel will take the lead in creating jobs lost in the pandemic while making our economy stronger than ever.

Veterans who fought bravely for our country deserve our full support. Abel will continue honoring the service of our veterans and active duty personnel by fighting for the resources and care they need.

Because it takes tremendous strength for family violence survivors to leave an abusive relationship, we must ensure they have the necessary resources to break away from their abuser. Abel will continue standing with survivors of domestic violence and support legislation that will finally end the cycle of family violence.

When disaster strikes, TWIA should be there to help, not to set up roadblocks to recovery. Abel will continue opposing insurance rate increases while promoting consumer-friendly legislation that protects property owners.
