Supporting Our Veterans

The brave veterans and active duty personnel who dedicated their lives to keeping us safe deserve our support and gratitude. Abel has fought hard to ensure they have access to the resources and medical care they deserve. For example, during the 86th Legislative Session, he authored and passed House Bill 306, creating the Texas Open Burn Pit Registry, to help veterans exposed to toxic fumes from open air burn pits find crucial healthcare. Abel will continue to fight to ensure no veteran is forgotten.
