October is #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We must continue to speak out against the cycle of violence, intervene when it occurs, and try to prevent it from ever happening in the first place.

To help, this session I passed HB 1906 establishing a grant program to help more counties utilize GPS monitoring in family violence cases, providing additional protection and notice to survivors at a critical time.
